This book discussion group meets at the Library at noon on the fourth Wednesday of each month. Group members are welcome to bring a lunch with them, with coffee provided by the Library. PDL & the Liberty Street Brewing Co. host this bimonthly book club, meeting to talk books, socialize and kick back with a cold one. Meetings take place at Liberty Street Brewery at 149 W. Liberty Street, in the heart Plymouth’s Old Village. Copies of the book on deck are available at the library check-out desk. Cheers!

Great Books

The Great Books Foundation is a nonprofit education organization that has helped advance critical, reflective thinking and social and civic engagement of readers of all ages in the U.S. and other countries. The local group meets every other Monday evening at 7:15p.m., September through May.

 

 

Book Club Kits

BookClubKitHave you ever wanted to host a book discussion group but didn't know how to get started?
The Library offers Book Club Kits, a simple way to get your book club up and running. Established book groups will find having multiple copies available and information at your fingertips a great advantage. Each bag contains multiple copies of a title and numerous resources on how to start and maintain a book discussion group. Kits in canvas bags will be checked out as a unit to one member of your group for 8 weeks. You may place reserves on Book Club Kits at the Reader's Advisory Desk, 734-453-0750, press 4.
