Graphic Novel Book Club!

Read and discuss a graphic novel with a group! This discussion will be held in-person in the Storytime Room on Wednesday, June 15th at 6:30 p.m. and is open to kids ages 8-12.

We’ll be reading Witch Boy by Molly Knox Ostertag. Visit our Events Calendar to register. You can pick up your book at the Youth Help Desk on the lower level after registering. This program is limited to 12 kids.

Books & Bites

Teens can register to join us in-person or virtually on June 8th from 7-8 PM to discuss a great YA read while eating some delicious snacks! Registrants receive a free-to-keep copy of the book, and who doesn’t like free stuff?

This month we will be reading Heartstopper: Volume 1 by Alice Oseman! Recently adapted into a Netflix original series, this graphic novel kicks off an immensely popular series. Join us to find out what all the fuss is about!

Crafting Social Groups

Our crafting social groups meet monthly. All experience levels and crafts are welcome. Each meet-up is intended to be a social group, not an instructional class. At the end of each meeting, we will take turns talking about our projects. Mornings: The Hook & Needle group meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 10:30am-12:30pm. Evenings: The W.I.P. group meets the 1st Thursday of the month from 6:00pm-8:00pm.
