Introducing the Civic Zone!

The Civic Zone will be set up around the library, offering information and activities about current issues. Our goal is to help people think critically, build trust in the community, and find common ground on important topics. The first topic we are highlighting is voting.

Get ready for election season with help from the library! Voting gives you a voice in decisions that affect your community, state, and nation. Make your vote count!

The resources linked below can help you support candidates and measures that align with your vision for a better future. Take the time to learn about the candidates and measures on your ballot. Print a sample ballot, read the candidates’ position statements, and learn about all sides to the issues. An informed voter is an empowered voter.

Visit our Civic Zone in the library for more information, interactive learning opportunities, and books you can check out.
