Library System Upgrade in May
We’re updating our system to serve you better! Here’s what to know: During all our upgrades, you can browse the catalog online as usual.
May 19-22: Library accounts and self-checkout machines will be inaccessible. During this time, you can still check things out at the desk and call the library to place items on hold.
May 22-June 1: New self-checkout machines will be available throughout the library. Library accounts information will be available only on the app.
Once the upgrade is complete, library services should return to what you’d expect. Thanks for your patience. We’re excited to bring you a smoother, faster experience soon!
Library Renovation – Begins June 2
This summer, we will also embark on a renovation to refresh and reimagine how we serve the community. The multi-phase project will update every floor with new designs, expanded features, and welcoming spaces, all while keeping the library open for patrons. Renovations begin June 2nd, starting with the upper level, which will temporarily close for the summer. Updates include new paint, carpeting, additional study rooms, and a drive-thru window for material pickups. Later work will upgrade the main floor and youth department, with a short full-building closure planned for September.
