As we approach Earth Day, it’s an important time to reflect on the state of our planet and our collective responsibility to protect it. Climate change continues to challenge our world in ways that require urgent action, yet amid the pressing concerns, there’s much to celebrate about the positive work already being done and the crucial work still ahead.
Across the globe, communities are mobilizing to reduce emissions, protect biodiversity, and transition to more sustainable practices. Yet, much more needs to be done, from advocating for policies that address the root causes of climate change to supporting grassroots efforts that build resilience. At Plymouth District Library, we are proud to be part of the solution, offering programs that engage our community and raise awareness about the importance of environmental stewardship.
This year, we are thrilled to share a variety of events and activities designed to inspire and empower all of us to take meaningful steps toward a healthier planet.
