Plymouth District Library has spooktacular events and scary books for October fun.
Something spooky is in the air at the library and the staff has got the Halloween spirit! Both our calendar and our display shelves are primed and ready to help you enjoy the creepiest of months!
Shelves on all three floors are dripping with spooky reads for kids, teens and adults. Grab a cider or pumpkin-spiced something from the coffee shop and come find a cozy chair! Want to zero in on your favorites on psychological thrillers? gothic horror? the paranormal? Ask a librarian – they’re DYING to help! Our youth librarians can also help kids navigate the right level of creepy for their age and tastes.
In the lab, teens will be designing haunted houses and littles will be making ghosts and jack-o-lanterns. Maybe you’d like to set yourself up at our sewing machines to customize your costume or fall decor. Late in the month, we’ll enjoy spooky-themed games for the kids, and don’t miss our Youth librarians at downtown Plymouth’s Pumpkinpalooza!
Join us for this spooktacular month at the library!
