It should come as no surprise that we here at Plymouth District Library are passionate about sharing the joys of librarianship with others. We sat down with one of our interns recently to see what she’s learned so far with us and where she hopes to take it! Here’s what she told us. You can also find a list of some of her personal favorite books from all over the library!
Hello, my name is Bella! I am currently attending Wayne State University as a second year
Anthropology major with a double minor in Classical Civilization and Archaeology. My interests include photography, drawing, reading, and attending sports games! I recently joined Plymouth District Library to see what librarianship is all about and to grow my skills in research, programming, and community engagement. As a kid, I loved going to the Library and now I get to be a part of one; it is awesome! I’ve had such a wonderful time so far and learned a great deal; my favorite thing to do is to create and attend programs, as well as work at the help desks so I can continue to make the library a fun and exciting place to be through assisting others!
