The Wilcox Foundation sponsors academic scholarships to Plymouth and Canton Students, awarded through an essay contest. Each essay will receive either a first, second, or random draw designation. First place is $2,000, second is $1,500, and random draw is $1,000. The scholarship awards must be used for post high school educational purposes.
The 2020 essay theme focuses on the lives of school age children between 1950 and 1960. Scholarship applicants are requested to interview someone living in Plymouth from 1950-1960. If you are seeking someone to interview please contact local historian Ellen Elliott at firstname.lastname@example.org
Essays must be submitted by Monday, April 13, 2020.
