It's Tax Time Again !! Find your Federal Income Tax forms at the Library. State of Michigan Forms are not yet in, but call us at 734.453.0750, press 4, to check on them. If we don't have paper copies of the forms you need, they are available online. Click the image to your left on this page to access the online forms, or ask a Librarian for help in printing them at the Library. Paper copies of Publication 17 and other forms are now available on the Main Level by the stairs.

Once again, volunteers from AARP will be working with the PCCA to provide free tax filing help to local area seniors. They will be in the Library starting Wednesday, Feb. 3rd. Call the PCCA for an appointment at 734.453.1234, ext. 236.

Spaghetti Dinner ~ Monday, March 8th from 1:00 - 3:00 pm at the Cultural Center Sponsored by Independence Village, and hosted by The Council on Aging. $6.00 for members $8.00 for guests. Deadline to purchase tickets is March 3rd.

Kill A Watts now at the Library ~ Trying to save money and energy? Find out how efficient your appliances are!  Just plug the Kill A Watt unit into an electrical outlet, then plug the appliance into the Kill A Watt.  The display will show energy consumption by the kilowatt hour.  Calculate your electrical expenses by the day, week, month, even an entire year.  Check one out for one week to audit the energy use of your home or office! Sorry - no holds or renewals due to high patron demand.

LOW VISION GROUP –Thursday, March 4, 2010, 1pm
This group meets on the first Thursday of every month. Participants will share advice on coping skills and adaptive technologies in a supportive atmosphere. A qualified facilitator will lead the group. Library staff members will be on hand to provide assistance with Library equipment, services and offerings. Homebound Delivery Service Now Available!
The Library, in partnership with the Plymouth Community Council on Aging, will begin offering a new service to residents of Plymouth and Plymouth Twp. Homebound delivery of library books and audiobooks will be available for residents who are physically unable to come to the library due to a permanent or temporary (3 month minimum) illness or disability. To request this service, please fill out our Request Form.

Spending a while on vacation and don't want to take along CD-Books or hardcovers -- Download an e-book to your laptop or an audio e-book to your MP3 player and take it along. Remember, you can enlarge the type on your e-books on the computer for ease of use! You never have to bring them back - They expire automatically and you then remove the file from your computer.
