Birthday and Spring Cards, March 5, 2012
Papercrafts-A-Palooza, at Plymouth Library, Saturday, 10.6.12
The event included Halloween Cards, Polish Christmas Ornaments, 3-D Flowers, and Gift Boxes. Volunteers provided examples and demonstrated the steps. Here are some photos of how the crafters at the Papercrafts-A-Palooza created their unique versions.
Halloween & Fall Cards
Barb T. designed these cards. The autumn card was created with stamps, colored pens, paper and card stock. It's hard to see but the right edge is embossed. The jack-o-lantern card uses precut cards (for the jack-o-lantern face) and embellished with colored paper, ribbon or what have you. Following are some examples of what the workshop attendess created with the materials that Barb T. had provided.
Polish Star Ornament
Here's a You-Tube video tutorial that does a pretty good job of describing how to make this ornament.
Thanks to Linda C. for demonstrating and sharing her expertise. It takes some practice so we didn't finish any ornaments at the event. You can see what one of pieces looks like in the photo above. Take the silver 8-point star, make eleven more just like it and then string and crimp.
Meena provide a template and instructions for these flowers.
