To enter your name in the Organ and Tissue Donor Registry in Michigan, you may access the Organ and Tissue Enrollment site of the Michigan Secretary of State's Office on the Internet. According to their website,
"The Organ and Tissue Donor Registry is a confidential, 24-hour-a-day, computerized database that documents your wishes regarding organ donation. Placing your name on the registry is one of the best ways for making your wish to be an organ donor known. Your organ donor registry information will be available to the hospital and your family at the time of your death, and will assist your family in making a decision when asked about organ donation."
