Books dealing with the exploration of North America are located in Youth Non-fiction section 970.01 +. Some collected biographies on explorers may be found in Youth Non-fiction section 923.9. Look for the lives of individual explorers in the Youth Non-fiction Biography area under the famous person's last name. You may also try Reference and Adult Non-fiction in those same call numbers. Encyclopedias may be of help to you as well.
